Graeme has spent 22 years in the pharmaceutical industry and service agencies including Astra-Zeneca, BMS, SKB and GW as well as Commercial Director Innovex and MD of Dendrite and most recently Royce recruitment.

 
Angela McFarlane

Angela McFarlane

Angela worked for MSD and BMS for 12 years, holding senior sales and marketing positions prior to becoming Marketing Director of a managed care organisation that contracted with the NHS for 4 years.  She is one of the founding directors of HGS Consultancy and brings with her a proven track record of being able to commercialise the opportunities of NHS modernisation.

 
Andrew Platten

Andrew Platten

Andrew joined HGS Consultancy in August 2002 following 7 years working for Eli Lilly in a variety of sales and marketing positions, most recently as a Regional Sales Manager in the South West. Andrew qualified as a pharmacist in 1987 and spent his early career working in community pharmacy, training and as a pharmaceutical adviser. Since graduating as a pharmacist he has also completed an MSc in clinical pharmacy and the CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the College of Pharmacy Practice. He was until recently a Non-Executive Director of South West Oxfordshire PCT.

 

Sarah Kerr, MRPharm, MSc

Sarah currently works as a Pharmaceutical Adviser. Previously she worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 5 years, within NHS operations, both in the field and at head office, in customer marketing roles. Prior to joining the industry she worked at East Sussex Health Authority and in hospital pharmacy, at University College Hospital, The Royal London Hospital and a private hospital in Harley Street. She also works in a community pharmacy as a regular locum.

 

Jean Mossman

Until September 2000, Jean was Chief Executive of CancerBACUP, one of the highest profile patient support groups in the UK.  Jean works as an associate with HGS Consultancy, leading on issues and programmes to deliver more effective relationships between patient groups, industry and the NHS.  The timing of such initiatives is highly relevant given the obligation placed on the NHS Act (and re-stated by the National Plan) to empower service users and carers.
