The Customer Alignment Group brings together NHS professionals from primary and secondary care, commissioners and patient representatives for a focused meeting to help pharmaceutical companies gain a greater understanding of complex, multidisciplinary issues.

Each participant is asked to prepare a short presentation in response to a written brief agreed with the pharmaceutical client describing the key issues from their perspective. The pharmaceutical company will also provide a presentation outlining their strategic plans and marketing plans.

The CAG then develops the key themes via a series of interactive, multidisciplinary workshops that allow the pharmaceutical company to further refine their understanding of the NHS customer’s views on defined topics. Following the CAG the client receives a comprehensive written report with recommendations which enables them to adapt their marketing strategy and decide how to assign their marketing budget relative to the influence of each part of the funding/prescribing matrix.
