- Need to understand NHS customer decision making processes and barriers to product use
The Critical Evidence Review CER® is designed to address the issue that many companies face: prescribers and influencers are too busy to properly review the brand’s evidence base and form perceptions about where it fits that may be inconsistent with the positioning given by marketing.
HGS Consultancy Limited has developed the Critical Evidence Review to enable customers to have protected learning time to review the brand’s evidence and complete a comprehensive questionnaire on their views of the evidence.
The questionnaire is developed in collaboration with the client, HGS Consultancy Limited then personally recruits and briefs the participants and mails out the questionnaire. The participants should represent the client companies target audience.
The CER® can be further developed to ask about the local commissioning processes that are in place for a specific disease area and identify the key decision makers that need to be engaged to ensure the benefits of the brand are fully understood.
The output from the CER® is a comprehensive report that gives the client expert third party views on its drug from NHS customers who have had protected time to review the evidence. Critical evidence review process often results in wrong perceptions being dispelled.
The Critical Evidence Review can be used in tandem with a Customer Alignment Group.
